San Diego, How do you choose a Realtor?
What qualities are you looking for in a Real Estate Professional whether you are buying or selling real estate?
Now as a real estate professional I believe I know the skills that a real estate agent should have. They should be:
- a good listener
- knowlegable in their market
- personable both to their clients and to other real estate agents
- great at negotiating
- adapatable since both the market and the inventory are always changing
BUT, I am wondering what makes you the client, choose one agent over the other? What are the skill(s) or personality traits that will have you walking away (sometimes run away) from one and then sign the contract with the other.
Now we know people will have different opinions and we welcome the diversity, so if you could design your perfect Realtor what would they be like?
- What skills would they have?
- How would they communicate with you?
- What information would you like?
- Would they give you anything?
