- Alpine is a small town community great for raising kids or just taking things slow while still being close to a metropolitan city. Something for everyone including Kiwanis, Optimist, Women's Club, Mom's Club, artist associations and writer's groups and 3 annual parades which includes Fourth of July at Crown Hills, Viejas' Days and the Parade of Lights down Alpine Boulevard.
- Wright's Field, donated by a town benefactor, is a great open space in the center of town providing panoramic views and endless trails for hiking, horseback riding, geocaching or just enjoying nature.
- Big Sky, because of the altitude the marine layer doesn't often make it out there giving Alpine more than it's fair share of beautiful sunny days with clear blue skys.
- Great Schools, Alpine Union School District consistently ranks in the top of San Diego County, but they know its not just about test scores it's about the whole child, which they are able to cater to with the help of the community, parents, teachers and the superintendent. Alpine Elementary recently announced they were implementing a Leadership Magnet program based on Stephen Covey's principles.
- Great restaurants, Alpine will never claim to be a mecca for food connoisseurs, but we do have restaurants that even non-Alpinians will drive for, the Brat Pack era Alpine Inn the country has been bringing people to Alpine for over 50 years and the home cooking of Janet's Cafe Alpine is the perfect destination for a Sunday Drive. The wonderful micro brews of Alpine Beer Company Brewery, now complimented by their own restaurant even has people coming from out of state. The Med, as it affectionately known has the locals is a Happy Hour favorite and actually featured Deborah Scott as a chef before she went out on her own.
- Viejas Casino and Outlet Center providing a little cosmopolitan sophistication to the little town from shopping , shows, concerts, restaurants, nightlife, fire works, bowling and even ice skating.
- A yard of your own, no mater how large or small. Varied property lot sizes so you can find the one that fits your desired life-style. Everything from condos to 100 acre lots with lakes. Most common lots range from 1-3 acres.
- The Ranches, Alpines premier communities of Palo Verde Ranch and the sister association Rancho Palo Verde benefit their residents with a variety of amenities from vast riding and hiking trails, tennis courts, beautiful lakes for boating, fishing, even a great beach complete with picnic area, volley ball courts, and of course, a clubhouse.
- Four Seasons, the sky and landscape change with the seasons, although not as drastic as other parts of the United States, we experience the changing of colors of the leaves during the fall and every few years we get a dusting of snow in the winter, last year we even received two dustings.
- With so many other great things to do, see and eat what is your favorite thing about Alpine ?
